Must enjoy working with all age groups and cross-country driving.
Valid Class B CDL with passenger endorsement.
2 years verifiable bus or commercial driving experience (preferably motorcoach experience).
Clear MVR, and no felony or sexual convictions.
Must pass DOT physical, drug screening, and background check.
Professional manner and appearance, positive attitude, possessing good organizational and time management skills.
Willing and able to abide by federal, state, and local regulations.
Willing to comply with all company policies, including random drug and alcohol screenings. Must attend all mandatory meetings.
Smooth operational skills and excellent defensive driving skills; we want drivers who are willing and able to treat our motorcoaches as if they were their own.
Ability to read, write, and communicate in English, read maps, maintain expense and mileage records, complete incident reports when necessary, load and unload luggage, assist with passenger boarding and disembarking.
Ability to perform daily pre and post-trip motorcoach inspections, as well as basic maintenance and repair jobs (such as replacing belts, fuses and light bulbs, adding oil and coolant, and adjusting tire pressure when necessary).
Availability must be flexible. Drivers should be available each week during peak season (the months of March, April, May, September, October and November). The nature of the business allows our drivers freedom to travel during off-season months. Our charters range from single-day trips with some overnights to multi-day extended trips, some one or more weeks long. We need our drivers to be available when needed.
Motorcoach, maintenance, or repair experience a plus. Customer service or sales experience also a plus.
